In 1964, the beginning of the winegrowing of the Paul Duschanek family took place. In 1989, his son Hans (winegrower and cellar master) and his wife Christiana took over the responsibility for the winery. Constant renovations and updates in vinification contribute to the quality enhancement of the wines.
Our family-run winery is located in Horitschon, in the midst of the Blaufränkischland. The prevailing Pannonian climate, combined with sandy-heavy clay soils and excellent locations, shapes the grape quality. In addition, there is a commitment to environmentally friendly viticulture – careful, yield-restraining treatment during growth and a careful selection of grapes during harvest.

Various top wines thrive in the vineyards: Blaufränkisch, Blauer Zweigelt, Merlot, and Sankt Laurent, with a small portion of the vineyard planted with Muskat Ottonel and Welschriesling. Depending on the vintage and ripeness, both robust and cellar-worthy, as well as fruity and harmonious quality wines are aimed for. These are then aged in wooden storage barrels and barriques.
