The Gerhard Kirnbauer Winery is a typical Burgenland family business and a master operation located in the wine-growing community of Deutschkreutz in the Mittelburgenland wine region. Lukas Kirnbauer, together with his father, has been managing the winery since 2016, now in the fifth generation. Lukas practically "grew up in the vineyard." He completed a 4-year viticulture school in Eisenstadt and brings the latest knowledge and techniques with youthful enthusiasm.

The effort for quality begins in the vineyard - with the pruning and care of the vines. After the harvest, the processing of the grapes is carried out with care and great experience, supported by the latest technology in the cellar. The winery employs so-called cold maceration for red wines, where the skins are fermented together with the juice, in electronically controlled fermentation tanks. Following alcoholic fermentation, a biological acid degradation occurs, taking place in a stainless-steel tank. Controlled cooling during fermentation also proves effective for white wine. This results in the uncomplicated, fruity-fresh, and pure wines typical of our estate.
