Sustainable forestry has been practiced at Esterhazy for decades. The awards with the PEFC label and Wild Life Estate label confirm this.
In times of climate change, these forests are indeed threatened, but on the other hand, climate-resilient forests also provide the solution. Examples will illustrate and discuss the regeneration of oak and fir, as well as the cultivation of site-adapted guest tree species.
